At ANZCA, every piece in a grade exam receives its own mark, and examiners are required to clearly explain any deductions. This ensures students and teachers don’t just see a result—they gain meaningful, constructive feedback that supports learning, growth, and fairness. Our approach makes the examination experience not only predictable, but genuinely valuable for future musical growth.

First Class Honours 95 – 100
Honours 85 – 94
Credit 75 – 84
Pass 60 – 74

VIDEO EXAMS

Candidates can record and submit their performances from anywhere, on their own schedule, while still receiving detailed, constructive feedback. Video exams maintain the same high standards as in-person assessments and are a valuable option for remote learners, busy schedules, or those who prefer the comfort of familiar surroundings.
