ANZCA Scholarships
ANZCA’s 2026 scholarships will be awarded to our successful students according to the criteria detailed below.
Anne G. Felstead Scholarship for Excellence in Performance
An annual prize of $250 for Grade Six practical candidates within Australia.
- Awarded to the Grade Six practical candidate (within the current year) with the highest average mark over their last three (3) practical exams.
- Minimum grade level for previous practical exams is Grade Three.
(i.e. Eligible Grade Six candidates must have successfully completed any two of Grades Three, Four or Five.) - All three exams must be in the same instrument, but can be a mixture of streams (i.e. Modern, Classical, Performance or Go!).
- All exams must be completed within a five-year period (including the current year).
- Theory requisites for the Grade Six practical exam are not required.
Margaret Weston Memorial Scholarship
$500 for Australian candidates only.
- Awarded to the candidate with the highest mark in Grade Four Theory from the May and October exams combined.
- Minimum score: 85 (Honours) overall, with at least 75% of available marks in the Composition section of the paper.
Note: Where two or more candidates achieve the same (highest) mark, the prize will be awarded to the candidate with the highest mark in the Composition section. - Candidates must have completed at least one (1) previous ANZCA theory examination.
- Candidates must be 18 years or younger at the time of the exam.
This very generous scholarship for Australian candidates only is provided by the family of Margaret Weston. Margaret was a wonderful teacher and a great supporter of ANZCA. We sincerely thank the Weston family for making this scholarship available.
ANZCA Grade Four Theory Scholarships
ANZCA Publications Voucher (value $100) for each Australian state and territory, and New Zealand, Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia and Thailand.
- Awarded annually to the candidate with the highest mark in Grade Four Theory from the May and October exams combined.
- Minimum score: 85 (Honours).
- Candidates must have completed at least one (1) previous ANZCA theory examination.
- Candidates must be 18 years of age or younger at the time of the exam.
