Update: Performance Exams & ANZCA Go!

As we move closer to implementing the new Video exam and ANZCA Go! structures, it’s time to revisit exactly what these new formats involve.

VIDEO EXAMS FROM 1ST OCTOBER 2023

Candidates can enrol for a Video Examination at the new online portal when it opens on 1st October. There is no need to pre-enrol; simply upload a completed video at the time of enrolment any time from 1st October to 30th November.

*Please do not try to book a Video Examination date after 1st October from the current enrolment portal. Wait until 1st October when the new portal opens and enrol and upload your video at that time.

Video Examinations will now be offered for Performance Examinations only and will be available from Preparatory through to Performance Diploma. They require only four pieces—there are no Technical Work, General Knowledge, Sight Reading or Aural Test requirements. Video exams are also being offered for Introductory level, requiring Technical Work and two pieces only.

From 1st October, Video exams will no longer need to be recorded within a specific time frame; they can be recorded at any time, but only videos recorded in a single take, without any pauses or breaks, will be accepted for assessment.

ANZCA Go!

ANZCA Go! is our newest format and will be available from Preparatory through to Grade Five only, from 1st October 2023. This format provides an incremental approach to Performance Video exams, where four pieces can be uploaded separately throughout a 12-month period. Students or teachers must enrol online via the website when the first piece is ready for assessment.
